They hid the Alleluia! In preparation for Lent, Arthur helped the children hide the Alleluia. During Lent, children will engage in stories that Jesus learned as a child as well as stories about his life and ministry. We’ll talk about faithfulness and the spiritual practices that help us as we strive to be followers of Jesus. Read more.

Nursery & Children’s Theme for Feb. 18 – Promises
Children will hear the story of Noah’s Ark. Central to the story is God’s promise, “I have set my bow in the clouds, and it shall be a sign of the covenant between me and the earth.” This story helps children learn that God is a promising God. God’s promises extend not just to us but to all of creation. Children will make a rainbow as a symbol of God’s promise to Noah, the first of God’s many promises found in the Bible.
JYF – 12:15-1:30 Lunch & Learn
After sharing lunch with the Chi Rho, we’ll learn about the season of Lent and enjoy a discussion of ways to grow in our faithfulness to God.
