Rev. Arthur Stewart
Arthur Stewart was called as Senior Minister at Midway Hills in the fall of 2012. He is a graduate of Brite Divinity School at TCU, and holds a Bachelor’s Degree in History from Webster University in his hometown of Saint Louis, Missouri. Before his call at Midway Hills, Arthur served as Associate Minister at Creekwood Christian Church in Flower Mound, Texas.
Before hearing, avoiding and then finally accepting God’s call to ministry, Arthur worked as a performer of short-form improvisation. His experience in improvisation has strongly influenced his theology and ministry (and his training as a stand up comedian keeps the sermons quite lively). In his spare time, Arthur enjoys reading, cooking, and trying new things.

He hopes you will join us for worship at Midway Hills.
Kathy Bouchard has been a member of Midway Hills for a number of years and has served in several leadership roles at our church. After retiring from a rewarding career as an elementary school teacher and assistant principal, she completed a Master of Divinity degree at Brite Divinity School and was ordained at Midway Hills. In addition to a Master of Divinity degree, Kathy holds a Bachelor of Science degree from TCU with a major in Elementary Education and a minor in Psychology as well as a Master of Education degree from Texas Woman’s University with a specialization in Reading. She organizes ministries for infants through elementary school-aged children and assists with the ministry of pastoral care at Midway Hills.
Kathy enjoys cooking, quilting, crafts, strolls through art museums, spending time in the mountains of New Mexico, and visiting with friends.
Zane Ridings is a graduate of Eureka College, a lifelong member of the Disciples of Christ, and a native of Oregon. He does not view youth ministry as a “stepping stone” but as the foundation and ground of the church, and a way to experience God’s radical love and care in intentional community. Youth group and Sunday school is a blend of hanging out and forming bonds, and having real conversations about the Bible, religion, and growing up. When Zane is not studying or performing a variety of tasks at the church, he is normally camping, hiking, or playing retro video games.
We are a Teaching Church and always have a Resident Minister (a.k.a. minister in training) in service.
Director of Music Ministries
John O’Neal comes to Midway Hills having many years of music and ministry experience. He earned his Bachelor of Music from Oberlin Conservatory, his Master of Music from Indiana University, Bloomington, and served in a variety of churches as Director of Music. He served at Northway Christian from 2008-2015, and at Brite Divinity School as Director of Choir and Worship in 2015. While music is in his soul, he felt called to pursue a greater purpose and completed a Master of Divinity Degree at Brite Divinity School in 2013 and was ordained shortly thereafter. He is completing a residency with UT Southwestern Medical Center and is excited about his new path into Hospital Chaplaincy. To decompress, John enjoys long walks, jogs, singing and being in the kitchen or behind the grill with a glass of wine and either jazz or classical on the radio with his husband of 18 years, their 18-year-old nephew Forrest and rescue collie Simon.
