Elders & Deacons
Elders Elders are charged with supporting members of the church community as spiritual leaders. Each Sunday, an elder serves at the communion table. At Midway Hills, members and long-standing visitors are split among seven elders into "flocks". The elders regularly checks in with their members to share in their joys and concerns. Also, elders serve on committees.
Deacons Deacons help greet people on Sundays, set up the sanctuary for service and communion, and tidy up after worship.
