Each year in December, Midway Hills Christian Church has an Alternative Christmas Gift Market. Here people have an opportunity to emphasize the Christ in Christmas by giving the gift of food, shelter, clean water, and empowerment to the needy both locally and in distant parts of our world. Varying amounts can be donated to a selection of agencies. For each gift, the donor receives a greeting card and an insert describing the program and the mission of the selected agency. Organizations we support include Church World Service and Week of Compassion as well as various local agencies.
