On September 6, 2018, Dallas police officer Amber Guyger mistakenly entered Botham Jean’s apartment and fatally shot him, believing he was a burglar. Allisa’s book, “After Botham,” recounts the story of her brother’s death and her personal journey to find faith and justice. Allisa Charles-Findley is the president of the Botham Jean Foundation and Sisters of the Movement, organizations dedicated to advocating for social change and justice for victims of police brutality.
