Trainings will be at MHCC in the community hall on July 10, 1-2:30 and July 17, 10-11:30 am.  Choose which date works in your schedule; other community members and congregations will be joining us.

An organized and informed small group observing immigration court rooms has historically been an action of solidarity with our immigrant siblings.

You will learn the role of DHS and ICE (Immigration and Customs Enforcement) and the ethics of the Immigration Judges.  You will learn about the process from Master to Merit Hearings. You will also learn about the definition of the procedures applied to immigrants. Most importantly we will be intentionally observing the court, and the actions of ICE. Come and learn more if are available to be part of a team. This is a daytime only training because the court is only open from 8am-4pm during the week.
