We are studying the book by Kat Armas, “Abuelita Faith: What Women on the Margins Teach Us about Wisdom, Persistence, and Strength.” Combining personal storytelling with biblical reflection, a Cuban American writer tells the story of unnamed and overlooked theologians–mothers, grandmothers, sisters, and daughters–whose survival, resistance, and persistence teach us the true power of faith and love. Come in person or join online as we explore our faith together. Reading the book is helpful for discussion but not mandatory. This study is led by Rev. Laurie.
